Privacy Policy
This policy covers Whitsunday Trips Publisher (“the app”), a private tool operated by Whitsunday Trips (whitsundaytrips.com) to upload photo posts to TikTok accounts that Whitsunday Trips owns.
Who uses the app
Only Whitsunday Trips staff use the app, and only with TikTok accounts that Whitsunday Trips owns. Members of the public cannot sign up or connect an account.
Information we receive from TikTok
When an owned account is connected through TikTok Login Kit, TikTok gives the app the account's basic profile information (open ID, display name, username and profile image) and access and refresh tokens. We request only the permissions needed to identify the account and upload content to it.
How we use it
We use this information only to show which account is connected and to upload photo posts to that account's TikTok inbox as drafts. We do not read followers, messages, analytics or other users' data. We do not sell, rent or share this information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Tokens and profile information are stored in the app's own database on infrastructure controlled by Whitsunday Trips. Traffic to the app passes through Cloudflare. Images uploaded for posting are stored on the same infrastructure so that TikTok can fetch them.
Retention and deletion
We keep tokens only while an account is connected. Disconnecting the account in the app, or removing the app's access in TikTok's settings (Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions), stops all access. To have any stored data deleted, email us and we will delete it within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed at children and is used only by Whitsunday Trips staff.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
